In 2006, the 2001 Casanova Di Neri Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova scored 97 pts and was awarded NUMBER 1 WINE IN THE WORLD for that year!!! Similar to 2001, the 2004 vintage is extremely highly rated in the region of Tuscany. Brunello and Tuscany have been rated by both Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator the region of Tuscany and more specifically Brunello is considered a 96 plus or Excellent vintage!
