Mohr-Fry Ranch Old Vine Zinfandel comes from a head-pruned vineyard planted in 1944 in the heart of the Lodi Appellation. It was one of the first "certified" vineyards under the Lodi Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing. The Lodi Rules takes a comprehensive approach to address the overall health of the vineyard and the ecosystem. The wine is a big ripe chewy Zin with rich raspberry and spicy blackberry flavors finishing with a delicious mouth-coating texture. - Winery Notes
