Lamborn Family has ties here in Fresno. These Lamborns are cousins of the J.P. Lamborn Air Conditioning Company. The Patriarch of the Bay Area Lamborn Tribe is Michael Lamborn, a Vietnam Vet. Upon returning from the war, Michael would work in Orinda, where he raised his children, and he would work on Howell Mountain on the weekends, at what he then considered to be his "hobby vineyards".

Now, 30 years later, it is his children who do a lot of the work for him. Michael still answers phones and is wonderfully engaging but he has recruited his children to help. Upon linking up with Heidi Barrett, the family has really taken off!!! They are very pleased to work with Heidi as they feel she has a consistently smooth style and really knows how to get saturated fruit out of their vines.

A great wine. A wonderfully engaging family! A tremendous winemaker, who prefers to offer her extremely valuable services to family run wineries. All around, a great-feel-good cellar gem!!!
