Banfi's Rosa Regale is our favorite Brachetto d'Acqui. This burgundy red bubbly is somewhat sweet and only 7% acohol. A very nice way to wind down an elegant evening. Brachetto has wonderful aromas of black raspberry and black cherry with notes of tar, clove and flowers such as violets or orchids. The wine is medium-bodied, generally with a trace of sweetness and a lightly sparkling style or frizzante. It is from the Southern part of Piemonte, close to the town of Asti.
