Hollis is a second label to Stewart Wines and it low production at only 500 cases. The source vineyard for this fruit is STATE LANE made famous by Beringer Private Reserve fame as well as the highly rated Kapcsandy Cabernet. This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged on new french oak for 20 months. The Hollis is accessible now with engaging and rich, fruit forward components dominated by cassis, black cherry and tobacco. It offers a muscular mid-palate full of soft tannins with notes of chocolate and coconut husk and it has a very long, lingering finish.
