Another great daily quaffer from Sicily! The aromatics of Isola's wines are dominated by berry fruit interlaced with subtle earth components. On the palate, again fruit takes the lead followed by earth and tobacco notes and a touch of espresso. Nice acidity for a wide variety of foods, most especially pastas with red sauces and roasted, smoked or cured meats.
