91 PTS FROM ROBERT PARKER!
According to Jean Trimbach, the 2000 Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile has a higher level of dry extract (23 grams per liter) than any other Frederic Emile ever made. This wine reveals demure mineral aromas and a concentrated, tightly-wound character. Layers of minerals and gravel can be found intertwined with candied citrus fruits in its juicy, yet structured personality. It is intense, yet immensely youthful, and demands cellaring. Projected maturity: 2005-2015. -DEC 01 ISSUE OF THE WINE ADVOCATE
