The 2001 Lupicaia, which uses the estateÆs best Cabernet and Merlot, is an impenetrable ruby in color, and the powerful, expansive flavors of berry fruit, eucalyptus, and coconut, the dense and shapely palate, and the rich, sensual finish are the attributes of a wine of superior class and caliber. The wine will drink well for another decade and a half.
