Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Caymus Vineyards produces two Cabernets Sauvignons - a "Napa Valley" and the venerable "Special Selection". Both Cabernet bottlings have aromas and flavors which can only be achieved through "hang time" - a technique which chances the loss of crop if early winter sets in. Leaving the fruit to "hang" on the vine unusually long develops suppleness, increases color, and matures the tannins of the grapes. The wines are abundant in textural tannins yet soft as velvet. Crop thinning, allowing measured sunlight to reach the vine's fruit zone, and waiting for increased ripeness are all part of our viticultural practices. Caymus Cabernets offer a wide array of aromas and flavors including cocoa, cassis and vanilla.
Rombauer Chardonnay 2016Enticing aromas of vanilla, melon and mango are layered with apricot, creme brulee, butter and a slight minerality. Those scents are echoed as flavors on the creamy, rich palate, along with peach, pie crust and baking spices. The long, smooth finish is marked by mouthwatering acidity.
Raeburn Russian River Chardonnay 2015The Russian River Valley opens to the Pacific Ocean allowing cool fog and breezes to flow directly into the vineyards. Chardonnay benefits greatly from this maritime influence which fosters a longer, more temperate growing season and yields full flavored, complex wines with well-balanced acidity.
Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013Our 2013 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is garnet in color with a ruby red rim, it has an alluring nose of blackberry bramble, baking spices and black olive. Aromas of vanilla, cassis and sage fill the glass, revealing the influence of American oak barrel aging. On the palate, notes of raspberry are complemented with lingering acidity and a finish of dusty, silky tannins. Given proper cellaring, this wine will provide drinking pleasure through 2036.
Salt of the Earth Moscato Rubino 2016Aromas and flavours of ripe raspberry and black cherry. Medium body, sweet and tangy citrus marmalade and spice finish. Balanced with fruit acid to finish clean Serving: Serve chilled at picnics, grills, and BBQs. Delicious with anything savoury that has a sweet sauce (ex. sweet-sour asian sauces, or BBQ sauces, or burgers with chutney).
