Once again, Heidi has masterfully blended small lots from some of our finest vineyard blocks on the eastern side of Napa Valley, delivering an incredible array of aromas and flavors. Vin Perdu 2014 is composed of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot from the Amuse Bouche, Au Sommet, La Sirena, Lamborn and Fantesca estates. Each Jeroboam features the patented flip lenticular label, and the new, Bacchanalian, art for this vintage.

Wine SpectatorPure, elegant and lightly aromatic, with a vibrant core of intense yet delicate loamy earth-shaded dark berry, licorice, cassis and anise flavors, accented by spicy, cedary oak. Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Proprietary Red Vin Perdu, a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot, is a juicy, round and supple wine with a dense ruby/purple color, a nice fleshy, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, light tannin, nice, attractive, plump fruit and a delicious, relatively long finish. This is a wine to drink now and over the next 7-8 years for its exuberance and charm.
