Although we grow twelve different grape varieties in our vineyard, our Cabernet Sauvignon reigns supreme. With almost ffty acres of steep hills with multiple soils planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, our vineyard produces fruit of tremendous depth and complexity. The resulting wine always satisfes and intrigues, offering both wonderful varietal character and unique, terroir-driven spice. The 2014 vintage is one we are proud of: with an opulent nose of elderberry, butterscotch, red bell pep-per, and cherry pie, this wine showcases the intensity that vintage 2014 is known for. Eminently drinkable, this wine is silk-smooth and plush. Flavors of pome-granate, raspberry and molasses open into full-bodied forest foor and cocoa. Firm tannins mark the fnish, which is kept live-ly with a fruity acidity.
Wine EnthusiastTight black cherry and black-olive aromas meet with mocha and loam on the juicy, approachable nose of this bottling from the northern edge of Paso. The lively blackberry and boysenberry-juice flavors of the palate are framed by a chalky texture and bright acidity, rounded out by crushed gravel and cocoa dust.
